Goal: A brand-new apartment property needed more than a website – it needed a digital foundation built to attract guests, inspire trust from day one, and generate direct reservations without relying on costly third-party platforms.

Filia Apartments was launching as a brand-new hospitality property. With zero prior online presence, zero brand recognition, and zero guest reviews to lean on, the challenge was to build a website that could compete for attention and reservations from the very first day of opening.

Designing for revenue, not just presence

The brief was to build a website. The real job was to build a booking engine with a beautiful front door.

1. Establishing brand trust through design quality

With no reviews to rely on, the visual language itself had to signal credibility. A refined aesthetic, professional photography direction, and deliberate typography choices communicated quality before a guest read a single word.

2. Direct booking as the primary conversion goal

Rather than treating the website as a brochure, I architected it as a conversion funnel – a clear booking CTA, and a “Book here. Pay less.” message placed at every key decision point to pull guests away from OTAs.

3. Emotion-led hierarchy – experience first, logistics second

Guests decide with their imagination before they check price or availability. The information architecture was designed to sell the feeling of a stay – through imagery, space, and ambient copy – before presenting the booking form.

The majority of hospitality searches start on a phone. Every element of the booking flow was designed for touch – large tap targets, minimal form fields, and a streamlined path from search to confirmation.

At only 2 units, a 15–25% OTA commission on every booking is painful. The site was built with direct booking as the primary conversion goal – clear CTAs, live availability, and a “Book here. Pay less.” message throughout.

Filia Apartments launched with a digital presence that reflects the quality of the stay – warm, considered, and built around the right guest. The direct booking architecture means every reservation goes straight to the owner, not to a platform’s pocket.

The two-unit structure, often seen as a limitation, was reframed as an asset: exclusivity. Guests aren’t choosing from 200 rooms – they’re being offered one of only two. That scarcity, communicated well, is a conversion tool in itself.
