“Redesigned by Breaking the Rules”
As a UX/UI Product Designer, I’m often tasked with more than just aesthetics. Sometimes, it’s about challenging fundamental beliefs and fostering growth through design. The redesign of Larger.World’s (SaaS Unlearning) platform was one such project, and it transformed not just the platform but also my perspective.
When I first embarked on the Larger.World redesign, I must admit, I was a bit lost. The concept of “unlearning” was new to me, and I felt a sense of apprehension about delivering the desired quality. But I decided to dedicate 15 days to thorough research and study, and slowly, clarity emerged.
Larger.World’s core objectives became my compass throughout the project. They wanted to enhance user engagement, brand identity, and platform usability while cultivating a growth mindset. These goals, along with their Unique Selling Point (USP) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), steered my decision-making and laid the foundation for my business design thinking approach.
The existing Larger.World website lacked clear navigation, a strong brand identity, and engaging content. The aim was to create a cohesive visual experience that promoted the platform’s mission.
Here’s how I tackled the challenge, point by point:

The redesign yielded several key improvements:

This project challenged my beliefs about how design can drive change. “Unlearning” isn’t just a buzzword; it’s a way to unlock new potential. By embracing this concept, I created a platform that encourages users to question assumptions, explore new perspectives, and grow.
This project taught me the importance of thorough research, a clear vision, and a willingness to challenge outdated beliefs.
